Am so embarrassed!
Someone logged onto my blog through google search for "lemon tree fool's garden analysis".
Aiyo, kah de vale (that means "Oh my God" in Tamil).

to know thyself*

Took a short time-out. Bah, working on a Sunday again. Spent the time-out by taking an IQ, Inkblot, Personality and Job test for fun. These are my results. I must admit they are quite accurate, though I wish the IQ number to be much higher!

1. IQ TEST RESULT

Your IQ score is 118

Your Intellectual Type is Visual Mathematician. This means you are gifted at spotting patterns - both in pictures and in numbers. These talents combined with your overall high intelligence make you good at understanding the big picture, which is why people trust your instincts and turn to you for direction - especially in the workplace.

2. INKBLOT TEST RESULT

Your subconscious mind is driven most by Love

Your instinct to love and be loved is rooted very deeply in your subconscious and affects most of the decisions you make in life - whether you are aware of it or not.

You inspire people to experience their true feelings of love and act kindly towards others. You also value your personal relationships more than most people.

Your unique capacity to love may be greater than those around you, which means you may have more to give in relationships than your friends or romantic partners do.

Your psyche is very rich; the more you learn about it, the more you will understand who you really are.

3. PERSONALITY TEST RESULT

You're a Poet!

Your personality is actually determined by two personality sub-types - your primary, or dominant sub-type, and your secondary sub-type. You are a Poet which means you are a Thinker / Golden. Your primary sub-type is defined by "Thinker" characteristics and your secondary sub-type is defined by "Golden" characteristics.

That means you're complex and artistic with a rich inner life. Chances are you're a bit shy and quiet, and you enjoy peaceful, comfortable environments. You're an interesting person to know, full of insights and inspiration, even though you're sometimes hesitant to express them.

How do we know all this? How do we know that you enjoy intense one-on-ones or small, intimate dinner parties? Or that you might not make friends all that easily, but that you relish the ones you have? How could we have divined that you don't like to juggle too much at work and can get stressed out by major job upheavals?

Because while you were taking the test, you answered four different types of questions - questions that measured confidence, apprehension, willingness to take risks, and your focus on experience versus appearance - the primary traits that determine your personality. Based on your responses, we determined your personality type, Poet.

4. RIGHT JOB TEST RESULT

The Right Job for you will allow you to be:
Creative and Strategic

You're a visionary in many people's eyes - able to think outside of the box to come up with your own solutions. You're creative not necessarily in the artistic sense, but because you can expand your mind to do things differently from others.

It might take a while for colleagues to recognize and reward for your entrepreneurial spirit and abilities. That could be because they envy you, or because they find your ideas slightly rebellious - willing to go against the current.

All in all, you make it hard for people to pigeon hole you. That is why you, more than others, need a job that allows you to play to your strengths, break out of the mold, and truly excel.

Hmm...it's really nice to know that I am made of all the things above. Starting to feel warm inside.
And Boston's 'More Than A Feeling' is humming on my head.

o'common sense, where art thou?*

Common sense is not so common
Voltaire [Francois-Marie Arouet]

That's been my biggest battle for the past two months.
If only people would put some common sense to the tasks given, this world would have been so beautiful.
This job would have been less stressful.

And if only people would not just be bloodly postmen?
If only they would think a little bit more beyond what has been briefed.
If only they would have some form of ownership & responsibility towards work.
If only they realise mediocrity is totally unacceptable.

But at the other end, I guess people would think these of me...
If only she is not such a pain.
If only she's not such a despicable fuss pot.
If only she would not be such a worry wad.
If only she could chill out.
And hang loose.

Not all of us have to possess earthshaking talent.
Just common sense and love will do.

cloud 9 dilemma*

I like you.
I like the idea of me liking you.
And it matters not if you like me too. Or not.
I know it's just not meant to be.
Coz I missed the bus. Your bus.
Your driver drove too fast.
I didn't reach the stop on time.
Or maybe I was at the wrong stop.
Sigh.
I still like you regardless.
When you smile at me, my heart skips a beat.
When you call my name, it never sounded sexier.
When we accidentally touched, I was tempted never to wash my hands.
But I am a cleanliness freak. So I did wash them. Reluctantly.
The tap water you served me tasted sweeter than honey.
Though it's not boiled.
And did I mention there's brown residues at the bottom of the glass.
Please serve me water sparingly.
I'm scared I'll get diabetes if I drink too much.
And oooh...the coffee. Your coffee.
Coffee never tasted better either.
I get high anticipating what else you'll be serving me.
Musically, we are worlds apart.
I don't quite dig classicals.
But since you like it, I'm trying my darnest best to like it too.
I just hope you don't like opera as well.
If so, I'm afraid I'd have to assasinate the fat lady.
But if the fat lady dies, she will not be able to sing.
And the opera will never come to an end.
I'm confused.
Sometimes I wonder what would happen if I had met you earlier.
Would I like you then, the way I like you now?
Maybe. Maybe not. I don't know. I won't know.
Still, I wished I had met you earlier.
But your driver drove too fast.
And I missed the stop.
Why didn't you ask him to adhere to the speed limit?

Alas, your bus did make a stop.
And someone else hitched the ride before me...
